The gnats were terrible and consumed my breakfast plate on the first day so, I walked away after a few bites.

The food was subpar at best, and I actually ate very little during my entire stay. I have never experienced so few food options at an all-inclusive resort. This resort advertises 5 restaurants, yet to my surprise there was only one or two restaurants open each day. However, I found myself very disappointed in the overall cost and value. Let me first say that I typically love Secrets Resorts and I was extremely excited about my stay here in St. The reason you pay for an all-inclusive resort is to have options and I feel like I was charged for services that the resort failed to provide. Thank goodness, I packed snacks, or I would've starved this entire trip. So, either you at what they had or starved. The Thanksgiving Dinner was HORRIBLE! and they were no other options to eat that night. I'm diabetic and to go to bed without food is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! The only options I had had were the leftover pastries/snacks in the coffee shop. To make matters worse, I returned to the resort late on Friday after an excursion to only find out that all the restaurants and room service shut down at 10:00pm. The buffet food was typically dry and over cooked after sitting under hot lamps.
